Great friendly gym staff and excellent equipment. Terrific if you're popping in for a day or a full membership. I'm in Bath for 3 weeks and am so happy to be able to walk to this gym.

A super friendly and welcoming gym with some great, enthusiastic class leaders. I use it very regularly with a class pass system but if I was going to become a member of any gym this is this one I'd choose. Great value for money too.
I started at this gym in 2014, and it's currently the best it has been during my time there. Frequent refurbs are great, but the real asset is the team they've assembled these days. Utilise all that's on offer, classes, PT sessions etc, and you get boutique result for a budget price. All the staff deserves praise truly, but special mention to Joe, who goes above and beyond every single time.
I had a lovely evening with my uni friend. I had called up beforehand requesting if they offer boxing gloves and pads to use. The woman over the phone was lovely and supported us with a day pass as well as explaining the facilities to us. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and family friendly gym that isn't too busy.
A great friendly gym, the staff are amazing. I have been training here regularly for a while now, with the help from the instructors. I have seen big changes in my fitness, and I would highly recommend visiting.nn6 years on and still a very welcoming gym, with a great community feel. Lots of friends made and still highly recommended.

A great gym with a unique sense of community. I love the mix of ages and abilities as it makes you comfortable and unintimidated. Friendly staff, knowledgeable class instructors, and caring management. A good selection of equipment and many different classes to choose from.
I’ve been coming to the ymca gym for 2 years now. Never thought I’d enjoy going to the gym but the staff made me feel so comfortable they are incredible, so friendly and helpful. The gym has great equipment and floor space to work out and the classes are fun and varied. It is often the highlight of my day ☺️
