Had the opportunity to train here while I was in the area and had a great experience. Tony is an excellent coach who pays a lot of attention to detail and creates a really welcoming atmosphere. I've had a fantastic experience training at Tony Ferreira Team BJJ Academy. From the moment you walk through the door, everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and supportive, creating a great atmosphere for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
The instructors are outstanding—highly knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly motivating. They genuinely care about helping everyone improve and are always willing to share their expertise. The quality of coaching is excellent, and every session is both challenging and enjoyable.
The team spirit at the academy is second to none, and it's a place where you immediately feel part of the community. If you're looking for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in the Eastbourne area, I couldn't recommend this gym highly enough. A brilliant place to train with great people and top-class instruction.
I've been training with Tony for 4 years and enjoyed every minute. Sessions are well organised, interesting with a welcoming atmosphere. Its not just BJJ, he also delivers circuits and stretching/mobility classes. A great all-round dojo.
