Customer Reviews of Milford Haven Leisure Centre / Canolfan Hamdden Aberdaugleddau

Great selection of classes. The gym is what you would expect from a LA gym, the pool is clean and the new Sauna is fantastic. Just need the steam room to be repaired. Currently no Hyrox which is offered by other local gyms and proving popular. Staff are pleasant and eager to help. Highly recommended for all round fitness from new people to experienced.

Staff are brilliant, great pool and gym, and a lovely sports hall where lots of community events and classes. But the best thing about this place is the bowls hall, which we primarily use it for. The disabilities club there, where the welsh team is based, is ran fantastically by Steve and Olwyn Whitmore, amazing people who make all learning and physical disabilities feel welcome and part of a community and more importantly, family. We travel over 2 hours to train there, there is the praise alone, thank you. Having trouble uploading photos but this club recently won golds, Silver, bronze and lots of rosettes, what a place to not just learn but participate, check out WAILDB fundraiser on Facebook for Scotland world championship 2027, all support welcome.

In need of updating pool and other areas. Not used gym. Friendly helpful staff. Happy to continue to use. Recommend the classes.

Having used 4 Lesiure centres within the county, this one by far is the best. Whilst it's not the biggest or most modern however, it boasts a recently newly developed gym, had a sauna, squash courts, outside tennis courts and a 25m indoor pool.

You are able to book the halls for various children's birthday parties such as ruff '
' tumble, skate and scooter, football.

During the school holidays, they host a Nerf gun battle, crafts, family swim and loads more.

You are able to book swimming lessons for your children. All children are individually assessed before starting a suitable class.

What really makes this place stand out is the staff. Every single member of staff is always so friendly, helpful and very informative. They're always extremely approachable and always make time for you.

The only real criticism is the temperature of the water which always seems very cold and the showers. They haven't changed in over 30 years! They are exactly the same now as when I used them as as youngster but they do the job!

They have helped me so much I am homeless and they are always willing to warm up my food and let me have a shower

Not the largest leisure centre in the county but certainly one of the best. Good swimming lessons, and constant development going on. Gym has recently been redone, in the last few years it’s been totally redeveloped. It hosts kids rough ‘n’ tumble parties and is a good place to socialise and keep fit and active.

I go to a great class there. The buildingcould do with updating. Ut it is what it is.

In town visiting family and stopped by for a swim. The staff were super friendly and they even let people borrow floats and swim aids for free! It's a clean and simple place that does exactly what it says it will, and it's really good value..
